Alban Bodineau

Alban has been a professional photographer for about fifteen years. After working for the printed press, he joined the Council of Europe in 2000. In his ten years there he discovered a marvellous world and gained a lot of precious experience in an international organisation that defends human rights, the rule of law and peace in the world.
For ten full years he met and photographed the most eminent political and public figures, not only from the 47 member States but from all over the world. His job took him to thirty-odd different countries, where he did over 40 in-depth photographic reports. In Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Croatia, Serbia, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, Lichtenstein and all the other countries he visited, he met many wonderful people and had some unforgettable experiences.
Alban discovered salsa in 2004 and became an unconditional fan. Over the last three years, between 2008 and 2010, he has attended more than 30 festivals all over Europe, and danced in every country he has been to, even for his work. He can truly say he is now a fully-fledged member of the great and happy family of salsa. He has met countless artists, including the living legend, The Mambo King Eddie Torres, The Diva Griselle Ponce, the marvellous Melissa Rosado and many others, and made so many friends among his partners and fellow dancers.
He has now decided to devote himself 100% to his passion – salsa. Since August 2010, he is offering his services to festivals all over the world, to immortalise the great moments we all live thanks to these salsa events. From now on everyone will be able to freely check out pictures of festivals, artists and even themselves dancing, and order them from Alban's Internet site if they so wish, as well as accessing a wealth of information about festivals, favourite artists and other useful tips.
